Here’s a few photos of the Ed Carroll Osprey John flew last Tuesday. It has the names of club members that are no long with us. What a great plane. It is owned by John Fletcher and is his tribute to MAS members who have passed.

Hi Guys, I have uploaded a copy of our history thru 1993 or so. Roy McGee was kind enough to research and publish this work. Thanks again Roy. So I have a challenge for you Guys, Would someone step up and continue where Roy left off? I hate to ask Him again, but…. Roy if you have the time and inclination we already know what kind of work you can do, if not we sure understand!

Greg Brown stopped by and decided to shoot some video at the airfield. For just throwing something together I thought it was great!
While flying last weekend my Stryker’s right vertical stabilizer decided to come off during a high speed fly by. From the noise I initially though I had a shattered prop but I was quickly relieved that I still had power. After trying to see how this thing would behave with only one vertical stabilizer I landed it just off the runway in some grass. No harm.
When the vertical stabilizer was found, we noticed it had a chunk of it missing from where the prop bit into it. The stryker had a mid-air collision with – itself. Too funny.
This plane has been heavily used all summer and it’s a great flyer. I’m currently using cheap Tenergy 25C 1800mah batteries and so far they work great!.
