Moab has three intriguing sites for flying. I hope you will research Moab for a club outing.

One is along the Colorado River, remote and cool.
One is a private property, Sky Ranch. On the map the marker is wrong. You will find Sky Ranch slightly northeast off of E Coronado, The current Sky Ranch marker is the old airport managed by State Lands. It is also available for Miniature Aero sportsters to fly.

The fellows there at the both were very polite and offered lots of information. They invited our 7yr old grandson to the event, and he seems interested. He has a soccer game that Sat, Aug 14th, so will miss the MAS Kids Day. Therefore we are wondering if you do this often, or if there is another location who will demonstrate to the beginner, what all is involved and give them hands on trial period. Where can we get more info? Is 7 too young? Thanks for any info you give. Terry

I think everyone had a good time at this event! Thanks for bringing the Aeroworks guys out to the field! The 42% Ultimate was awesome!!

The B-52 Cockpit exhibit is not new, but they do not open it up very often either. Weather permitting, it will be open for the Expo.

the hours that are best to come out at the airfield are best around 10:00 on the weekends i might be there sat. 20th
